Four years after beginning operations, Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) continues to make progress in its operational and financial consolidation. According to information presented by its General Directorate, the airport has been covering its operating expenses with its own revenue since 2024, reaching breakeven ahead of schedule, which strengthens its growth outlook.

This performance is accompanied by an increasingly significant share of the country’s air cargo traffic. During the first half of 2026, AIFA accounted for 32.9% of the cargo handled at Mexican airports, maintaining its position as the country’s leading terminal by cargo volume. Its infrastructure continues to expand to meet the growth in domestic and international operations.
